Floppy drive not detected, OR cd-roms not detected?

Thanks in advance for the help,

I am trying to install XP onto a Raid array which I need to load the raid
drivers at XP install via floppy. I find that my floppy is missing, I
replaced the IDE cable, installed drivers, swapped drives, nothing, put the
floppy into another comp, and the floppy works.. Okay....

So I pull my CMOS jumper and let XP detect hardware... And it finds it! YES!
YES! YES! Finally! Now for the install...

Place my xp cd in the drive and no autorun. My Computer, and my cdroms are
gone but are replaced with a scsi cdrom which I do not have..

Now when I reboot, I either get my cdroms, or my floppy. Never both.

Any ideas besides repairing windows with the cd then installing it on the
raid array?

Have you tried to set the BIOS to default settings?
