Flash Drive File Traces on Root Drive?

If I use MS Word 2003 on a W2K machine to compose and edit a document on
a removable USB flash jump drive, what, if any, file traces are left on
my Root C drive?

Probably best asked in a Word newsgroup, as the operating system would
only have created traces in the pagefile.
