There's a pretty good chance that you don't have that issue.
If you find something that used to work, and doesn't anymore, and it uses
the network, that's what you'd need to reinstall, either from the pile of
CD's that you have somewhere in a drawer or on top of the bookcase, or by
downloading from the vendors site.
I wouldn't worry about it until you find something that doesn't work.
