OK what i have is in column E is the real due date and what i need to do is
if the date is not 9/1/2006 then i need to move the date to column E on the
same line and change the date to the next month 1st day. I need to do this
as a macro that doesnt have a set number of rows as they change each month.

I have read the posting several times and still cannot clearly understand
what it is you are trying to do. Maybe you could re-post with a more clear
description of what you want to do. If you read your posting carefully, you
will see that the references to the dates indicate that everything is in
column E, but where in column E? and is it the due date of 9/1/26 that is
the real due date? Which date do you need to move to column E, since all the
dates are in column E?

All dates are in column E but the data that i get has
9/1/2006
9/10/2006 odd due date this would be moved to column F.
and the due date in column E would be changed to 10/1/2006. I think this will
clear it up.
