Hi,

I recently bought a Microtek FilmScan 35 slide/film scanner, which I
was told was compatible with XP.

However, the drivers on the cd provided with the scanner only work
for
win95/98, and when I try to install them, they corrupt my TWAIN
drivers, and corrupt my PC.

I can't find a suitable XP driver on the internet, and Microtek no
longer support the scanner.

Does anyone know how I can fix this, or have a suitable XP driver for
the scanner?

Thanks,

Phil

In looking for Microtek Film scanner, I found three models. Be sure which
model you have. Read the Model label on your scanner.

ArtixScan 120tf
Multiformat Film Scanner

The ArtixScan 4000tf is listed as a 35 mm scanner, maybe this is your model?
USB model.

There is also a ArtixScan 4000t. A different animal. SCSI model.

That model is a Pacific Image scanner, sold in Europe with the Microtek
name, and other names too. See the PrimeFilm 1800 at

Possibly that driver may work?
