I installed an Access 2000 database on a Win2k lan
server. I, also, set up user level security and this
works. However, if I try to import any updates to the
current system it won't allow me to...so I copied the
database with the updates onto the server in the same
folder as the original database. I joined this newer db
to the same workgroup as before. The shortcut cannot
complete because it cannot find this file. When I'm
setting up the shortcut, I use the Browse feature to
locate the newer database, I find it on the network,
double click on it and put it in the shortcut's path.
Still, I receive the error that no such file is found. I
continually, verified that all is typed in accurately and
that the path is set up properly.

Any help or suggestions for proceeding would be of great
help. I have an outside group coming in to look at the
database soon and need to include the updates.

Thanks
