Is there a way to disable file confirmation settings in XP similar to earlier Windows OS versions? Specifically, I would like to turn off the file delete confirmation when I am organizing or reorganizing or just being OC about my files and don't need the extra reminder of what I really am intending to do. I've looked around help and don't seem to find anything...maybe I've overlooked the obvious
Thanks, Jeff

Dangerous, but...

Run gpedit.msc - User Configuration - Administrative Templates - Windows
Components - Windows Explorer

Now look at right pane and search for "Display confirmation dialog when
deleting files" double click on it, then on it's property make sure to point
at "Disabled" click Apply & Ok button

Hi,

If you do not want a delete confirmation dialog to be displayed, right click
on the recycle bin and select properties. Uncheck 'Display delete
confirmation dialog'.
