would anyone know why in access 97 my field list will not
work in "form design view". i cannot insert fields as i
need thus cant build my forms.

if there is another way to insert fields into design view
i would be very grateful

Al,

Is it possible that your form is based on a query that
doesn't include the fields you need? Check the Record
Source Form Property, making sure it's set to the table or
query you intend. If it's a query, check it to make sure
you've chosen all the fields you need.
