Fax Outlook2000

Morning,
WinXP Home, all updates
Outlook2000, Faxservice enabled.
I sent faxes from Outlook2000 based on an *.oft template in rtf-format.
Works just fine, just one question about Subject-Line:

In Fax-Console (and what Receiver gets), Subject-line prints fine on top of
first page, however always in Courier (New?) 12 pts. Is there a way to
change this (my template is in Arial 10Pts), or is this by default?

(ps: changing *.oft in HTML-Format seems not to help)

Thanks
Wim

I can't reproduce your setup to test. Outlook 2000 and Win XP Fax are years
apart.
List your steps more precisely including how the fax is sent and cover page
information. With concurrent versions the Subject Line does not appear on
the document itself, only the Note does.

Thanks for reaction
Outlook2000 (with Win XP Fax-service installed)
To simplify:
Mail Format: rtf (all fonts Arial)
New Mail
- in field To: [fax:name@number]
- in field Subject: text

Sent, all ok...

In Fax-console: Subject-Line above fax, on same page, always in font Courier

Thanks

You cannot change the format of the Subject line in that scenario.

To retain consistent formatting throughout your message, why not fax a Word
document by printing to the Fax Printer? You'll still have access to all
your Outlook Contacts in the Send Fax Wizard's address book.

Again, thanks, but this would eliminate me tracking the faxes in Outlook
Sent-Items, which I prefer. I made a rule to color the faxes I sent through
Outlook (if Subject contains "Fax:" color)

Indeed it would. Routing to and through Outlook was eliminated in Windows XP
Fax. I'm just glad to see someone confirm that Windows XP Fax integrates
successfully with Outlook 2000.

It does, perfectly, if rightly configured!
Thanks again
