I am receving Fatal Error on my PC when I am trying to
upgrade Windows XP Home edition. I have already installed
XP couple of months back, but java script was not working
properly and therefore i tried to install XP again with
Upgrade option. However in the install process "Installing
WIndows" i am getting fatal error which says" An error has
been encountered that prevents Setup from continuing.
Steup failed to install product catalogs. This is a fatal
error. Setup log files should contain more information.
Press OK to view the file". When I press OK, i see a
System Setup Log file which says "Setup failed to remove
product catalog ieexcep.cat and sp1.cat. SIgnature for
Windows Home Edition Upgrade is invalid. Error code is
426". Service has not been started".

The PC boots again and puts me back at startying setup
again and same error message follows. I have tried various
options un Safe Mode, but am unable to resolve problem.
Please help me.

Cheers,
Ravi
