Here are a few things to try:
1. Make sure group policies are applying to the existing domain
controllers - check the application event log for event id 1000 or 1202.
2. If you have more than one nic in the existing DC disable one of them.
3. What account are you using? Is it an enterprise admin account? If not-
does the enterprise admin account work?
4. The error below with the SPN can occur if you are using an older version
of netdiag, try downloading the newer versions of the support tools from
here:
