I'm trying to run DCpromo in my member server however I
got an error "Failed to modify the properties of the
computer account serverx$ access is denied"

I have done the following article from MS
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=232070 and
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=250874 and no luck!
I run DCdiag, perfect however;
I run netdiag /v and I got this error
[Warning] Failed to query SPN registration on DC
region.my.com'

Do you think it is causing my problem to add DC replica
in my child domain. How to fix it..there is no other error
in Event viewer.

Here are a few things to try:
1. Make sure group policies are applying to the existing domain
controllers - check the application event log for event id 1000 or 1202.

2. If you have more than one nic in the existing DC disable one of them.

3. What account are you using? Is it an enterprise admin account? If not-
does the enterprise admin account work?

4. The error below with the SPN can occur if you are using an older version
of netdiag, try downloading the newer versions of the support tools from
here:
