Hello,
The SP1 update for windows 2003 server failed. We are trying to reinstall
sp1 again but we are receiving the the error message "Failed to install
catalog files when applying Windows 2003 sp1"

Is someone could suggest a way to force the installation?

Looks like there could be several reasons for this one. Several methods
for fixing it are listed in the Resolution section of
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;822798 so give
those a try one-at-a-time and hopefully the easiest one(s) will be what
your system needs.

Be sure to let us know if none of those solutions work for you.
