Extra step required when switching to Contacts

When switching to Contacts from any other view, you have to first click on either the "Look For" box or one of the contacts on the screen before you can type in who you are looking for. This is a pointless wasted step

Also, Contact always returns to the beginning of your contact list as opposed to staying where you were the last time you were in Contacts.
