Extra Services Running

After installing Roxio 8 (actually 8.5) I noticed some slow downs with my
system. I checked everything in my Start Up Folder and all items in the
Registry (HKLM-Run & HCU-Run). All seems okay.

Then I noticed 4-items in my Services at which 2-were running. I've listed
the 4-items below. I simply want to know if it is okay for me to disable
them so that they are not running all the time:
Roxio Hard Drive Watcher
RoxMediaDB
RoxUPnPRenderer
RoxUpnpServer

Thanks for your advice.

Hi,

I think they are all Roxio related service. You'd better to contact Roxio
if you want to know their usage.

When you feel the system slow down, you can open task manager to check if
any process takes more cpu usage.

Yes the task manager is what I used to see that I had Roxio stuff running.
However, contact Roxio will just give me someone that says YES you must run
it.
I'm hoping for some unbiased input.
Thanks

Hi,

I have no idea about the four services because it is related to
Roxio. However, I think it must provide some functions based on my
experience. I think you can ask Roxio to provide detailed information about
the four services to determine to stop or start them.

Best regards,
