I connect my CDMA phone modem to my PC with the serial cable provided, then
instructed to use to ADD modem in control panel, do not detect modem, then
select standard modem - 19,200, followed by next. Then my problem occurs,
there is a choice in the next wizard box to select a COM Port (recommended 1
or 2), unfortunately the Selected COM Ports box is blank and does not contain
a COM Port to select, I cannot progress from here to complete the
installation of the standard modem, I have been trying for two weeks, and
have also searched the Internet but cannot find a solution. The phone is CDMA
made by AIJI Systems, there is no installation disk and drivers are not
required. Any help would be highly appreciated.
Thank you. William
