My brother suggested I try this so here goes...

I upgraded to a new computer at work, and did manage to transfer my contact
list from the only computer, to the new computer via an export...

BUT...

it didn't transfer my "group contact lists"....

is there a way to do this?? and I'm new to this newsgroup stuff, so if you
have a solution for me, would it be possible to reply to my work email...

You will see posted here countless times that exporting is never the correct
way to transfer Outlook data. Do you export your Word documents to transfer
them?
Just copy your Outlook data file to transfer it. Exporting loses a lot of
data, distribution among them.
