Hi there,

We are running Windows 2000 Terminal Services to serve out the Great Plains
accounting package to our users. This applicatioin has the ability to export
information to Microsoft Excel. We are running Office 2000 on our Terminal
Server. The problem that we are having is that when our users export from
Great Plains to Excel, the export works, but then when every they modify a
cell in this exported spreadsheet a faint grey border appears about the
modified cells. This does not happen if you start an Excel spreadsheet from
scratch, only when it is a result from export in Great Plains.

Thanks in advance for any advise,

Mike.

Does this occur if you are working at the console of the
terminal server, rather than in a terminal services
session?

Also, have you tried updating the RDP client on the client
machine to see if that fixes anything?

- The client is already running the new RDP client.
- I tried the exact same operation on the server's console and no faint grey
borders on the Excel spreadsheet cells were present, it would appear the
problem on occurs within the Terminal Services session.
