I was experimenting with embedding MS-Word documents in a sheet. Suddenly
they changed to images and I could not convert them back to documents.
After closing down, Excel didn't start anymore; it shows the screen and a
progress indicator runs shortly, but Excel exits silently.
I created another .XLS, but as soon as I create an MS-Word object I get a
message like: "Cannot insert object". When I try using an existing .DOC or
..RTF, Excel exits without warning.
I've run a repair install but that hasn't helped any, neither did a reboot.
Other objects like Wordpad or Powerpoint insert perfectly.
Who knows what to do?
