Need your help! I have HP External 40/80 GB DLT Tape Drive on WIndows 2000
Server SP4. Here is the error that I am receiving on my Event Viewer System
Log

Event Type: Error
Event Source: adpu160m
Event Category: None
Event ID: 9
Date: 11/24/2004
Time: 8:38:51 AM
User: N/A
Computer: MYSERVER
Description:
The device, \Device\Scsi\adpu160m2, did not respond within the timeout
period.

I already restarted the server but still receive this error. I notice also
that I didn't see this device on the device manager (tape Drives category)

It sounds like your SCSI card isn't working if its not showing up in Device
Manager

If you run the Add New Hardware then you can troubleshoot the device. Just
pick it from the list of devices already present.

Post the result of the above please & we'll take it from there

Thanks for the reply. I already coordinate this to my hardware vendor and
they will send the replacement. Will let you know if the replacement will
fail again (I hope not)
