This is the message I get in the Application folder on this one event:
The description for Event ID (26) in Source (ISService) cannot be found. The
local
comuter may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files
to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the
/AUXSOURCE=flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for
details. The following information is part of the event: The event log is
corrupt.

The message comes up twice, the second time as Event ID (1).
Does this have any effect on my getting disconnected from the internet when
I'm trying to send a large email? Is the above message very serious?
I have Norton Internet Security 2005.
