Event ID's 1000 & 109

I'm having intermittent problems with units not running GP's. When the unit fails to run policies, I get the following errors in the Event Viewer:

Event ID: 1000 - Source: Userenv
The Group Policy client-side extension Scripts was passed flags (0) and returned a failure status code of (2).

&

Event ID: 109 - Source: Folder Redirection
Failed to read redirection settings for policy IE Settings. The following error occurred while accessing the initialization file:
The system cannot find the file specified.

I had to reload a DC from tape a while back and believe that may be the issue. I'd like to replicate everything from the forect root DC to this DC but don't know how or if that will correct this problem.

If that doesn't work, I thought of DCPROMO'ing the restored server to a memeber server, then DCPROMO'ing it back to a DC.

Any thoughts?
