It say a video capture device was not detected.
I have a Panasonic PV-L652 and I've tried everything. What should I do?

I forgot to mention it is connected through a Serial Port D-Sub 9-pin

That will be to capture still images via the PhotoShot software that came
with the camcorder.

You need to connect via firewire if it's a digital camcorder or via analog
capture hardware if it's an analog camcorder.
