error 2709 at ({BF83B991-Df02-11D1-9395-00A0C90F27F9})

I have a user running Windows 2000, Office 2000, with Outlook 2003
installed. When ever she tries to do an ODBC import into excel she gets
the following Outlook 2003 error:

error 2709 at ({BF83B991-Df02-11D1-9395-00A0C90F27F9}),

For some reason it appears to want to configure Outlook 2003 even
though we aren't using Outlook 2003 at the time.

What gives?
