Hi everyone;

I have this error code (0x800ccc19) with outlook express 6 each time i want
to access my pop email server. I noticed if i disable the antivirus plugin
outlook connects with no problem. Is there a workaround this problem since i
dont want to disable the antivirus plugin? I heard on some forums that i
have to change the mtu value in the registry??? Anyone can help please????

In your antivirus program, turn off the feature that automatically scans
incoming e-mail. It's unneeded, and it can interfere with your ability to
get mail. You are still protected by your antivirus program.

For example, this is what Symantec technical support says in regard to
Norton Antivirus:

"If you turn off incoming email scanning, Norton AntiVirus will continue to
protect your computer as long as Auto-Protect is enabled. Auto-Protect scans
any incoming files, including email attachments, when the files are saved to
your hard drive."
