I'm using a continuous ink system, with auto-reset chips on the cartridges.
I've been using a R200 with this setup, without any problems whatsoever.
I recently bought a R300M... I had to reinstall the newest epson driver
(5.5aA)... I'm having some trouble. When the printer prints, I get a pop-up
saying the cartridges are not epson ink carts, and quality would be better
with epson ink...do you want to continue printing? PRESS YES TO CONTINUE!
This is annoying, is there anyway to disable this OEM INK warning? I have
tried to disable all the warnings in the print monitor, that didn't help...
I did NOT have this issue with my R200 using driver 5.5a (one a)
Also, when I try to power up the printer with the OEM cis carts installed,
the printer gives me a general protection error on the lcd screen... remove
foreign objects from printer and re-start. WTF!?
Again, didn't have this issue with the R200.
ANY SUGGESTIONS?
