Enabling/Disabling Firewall

I follow the process Control Panel, Network and Internet
Connections, Network Connections, right click on
particular connection, select properties and there is no
Advanced Tab that it says to select which should take you
to the option for enabling and diabling the Firewall.

If you have AOL:

America Online installs its own connection settings that override
the ones that come with Windows XP. America Online's
connection settings don't include a way to turn on Windows XP's
built-in firewall.

connections/ settings/in dial up setting click properties
the click on the advance tab aol 9.0 intall itself in
internet explorer set as default conneccion. you should
be able to go to setting properties advance and remove
the fire wall check mark if that's what you want to do
good luck
