Where is the Windows Explorer thumbnail cache in
2000Professional?
I would like to empty it.
Is there a place to check Do Not Cache Thumbnails in 2KPRO
like there is in XP? I can't find it.

Janet

You can disable it on W2K using tip 5790 in the 'Tips & Tricks' at

Thanks Jerold,

I'm afraid I found the procedure a bit intimidating---and
I'm not familiar enough with the solution's elements to
know if it is reversable, so I was afraid to procede.

I was puzzled why that somewhat complex tip was given to
someone asking how to not cache thumbnails IN XP when all
you have to do in XP is check the Do Not Cache Thumbnail
option.....
