I use to open my email files in Word but recently, I cannot do it anymore. I cleaned
the registry and reinstalled word but the problem continues. I am experiencing this
situation in both Yahoo and Gmail.

Could anyone there help me? This is very important since I am earning a living with
Word and emails.
I Would appreciate any insight into the problem.

You mean email attachments in word (.doc .docx etc right?

Cant you just reset the file association?

what happens when you open the files? Details assist in finding the solution.

I've merged your last five posts into one - really no need to post spam like that.

Thanks again

I could not fix the problem because my computer cannot find
the Laserfiche file. So the problem seems to be much deeper
than I thought both with word and the operating system. I am going
to HP for support. Thank you very much for your help.
