Emagic Logic Audio failed bootup'DIRECTIO.dll not found'

When I launch the programme, the error 'file
DirectIO.dll' not found comes up. OK through this, and
another box says DirectIOlink.dll not found. Then the
programme quits? What could this be? I suspect there is a
setting to turn off Logic looking for this driver - as
far as I am aware it is unnescessary to its running...
