I made an experimental site with my FrontPage 2003 program in order to tinker
with CSS. This was an entirely different site from my local website, a copy
of which is online. After stumbling around on the experimental site, creating
a rudimentary external style sheet, I noticed that when I previewed my work,
the text looked huge. By huge I mean - instead of the 12 point font size I
used in my copy, I saw 14 or 16 point size text in the Preview Mode.

None of this bothered me till I checked out my "real" website in Preview
mode. All the text was now about a third larger here also. For example H2
text looked like H1. Everything was swollen - gigantic. I also previewed my
pages in Microsoft IE both 800 X 600 and 640 X 480. Everything looked bloated.

I of course deleted the experimental site which I thought might have is some
way corrupted my main site. I did this by clicking the top level folder on
the Folder List then pressing the delete key. Then in the dialogue box I
clicked the radio button - Delete This Web Entirely. I thought that this
would eliminate the CSS style sheet and everything.

Then I checked my main site to see if any CSS code was in the Head section
of any page. Nothing. I also made a new simple site (three pages) to see how
this would look in Preview view. I saw the same huge text.

Here is my question: If I publish updated pages in my site,
http://www.hairloss-reversible.com, is there a possibility that all the text
on my online site will be transformed into this larger size? I really need
some help in this because I don't want to mess up my online site.

Murray,

How can I do this? I just clicked the screen shot button to try to show you
the top of one page on my Preview view, but I can't paste it here. Tell me
what to do and I'll do it.

Such a simple suggestion - and it worked! I was waiting for a rocket-science
explanation to solve my problem. I thought desperate measures would be needed.

I have one more problem with the Preview view but this is not urgent, just
an annoyance. When I'm offline the Preview view works on only half my web
pages. Do you have another simple suggestion to remedy this? I get the "This
page cannot be displayed" message when I try to preview the first eight pages
on my site. When I'm online the Preview works on all pages.

Thanks everybody for all your help.

Tom

Just remember that your client and their customers can do this as well.
Unexpected things happens to pages built without taking this into
consideration.
