Hey guys,

Anyone have an answer for this? I found a ton of posts, but no real
resolution. Thanks in advance.

I'm running FP 2002 extensions on an NT 4 machine.

Thanks,
Sly

Is FrontPage set as the default html editor in the drop down on the IE > Tools > Internet
Options > Programs tab??

Also, have you cleared the temporary internet and history files recently??

Thanks, Steve.
Yep, did both. Nothing, the button is still grayed out.

The headers' (navigation bars) references are in the HTML document, and are
exactly the same as another page where the button still works. Don't know if
this helps.

Any other ideas?

Thanks

Does the "non working" page have the following??
<meta name="GENERATOR" content="Microsoft FrontPage 6.0">
or the equivalent for the appropriate FrontPage version??

Also, make sure it has all of the opening and closing html and body tags.

It's an asp page, actually.

Your suggestion led me to try and rename it to htm, then back to asp though.
Guess what, it worked!! There's one for the knowledgebase (I couldn't find a
resolution kb article on it when I looked). This one should now be closed,
finally!

Thanks for your help, Steve. Much appreciated.
Sly
