Echo problem

I seem to be having an Echo problem since upgrading Media Player 9 to 10. I
have a Sound Blaster Live 5.1 thought the EAX options are greyed out so I
dont think I can change/disable the echo effect that way, someone please help!

Check your SoundBlaster installation disk. You may not have all features
installed to eliminate this problem.
