Echo and SetWarnings in macros

Hi,

I use the Echo and SetWarnings macro commands before running alot of code in
my forms. This was not a problem in Access 2003, but in 2007, I get and
error warning that I cannot run those commands if the database is not
trusted. It is not even an option to select Echo or SetWarnings. I've
clearly added the location of my file to Trusted Locations, what's going on
here????

Thanks for any help.

Darstar,

In macro design view, click the Show All Actions button on the Show/Hide
tab on the Ribbon.

Thank you for this. A warning icon still shows up next to the Echo and
SetWarnings Actions even though my database is in a trusted location. Is
this normal???

Thanks aganin

Darstar,

Yes, this is normal. Access 2007 classifies macro actions as safe and
unsafe. The unsafe ones continue to be marked as such in the macro
design, even when you have trusted location etc, as a visual reminder
that your application will break if deployed to a non-trusted installation.

I am having the same issue Steve had and followed all of your recommendations
yet the Echo command (which is set to NO) is being ignored when I run my
macro. any suggestions would be appreciated!
