dynamic disk unreadable after system registry rollback

Title pretty much says it all. Under windows 2000, I hit the dreaded
the registry size limit which lead to a corrupted registry.
Unfortunately, I hadn't been making proper backups or my registry. So,
to get the system to boot I had to rollback to an old system registry
hive.

The cause of the problem is that this system hive dated before I
installed a new drive which I configured to be dynamic. So, all the
dynamic registry settings were lost during the rollback. Fortunately,
I can still see all my data under windows XP, it still accesses the
drive without problem. I would copy all the data off the dynamic drive
and then reformat and copy back over, but I don't nearly have enough
disk space.

I think if I could find the appropriate registry settings to add back
into my system registry the problem would be resolved, but I am having
a hard time finding the necessary settings. I tried importing all the
service/dm* settings from my working windows xp installation, but that
did not fix the problem.

Any help would be very greatly appreciated
