I've heard of virtual NICs which would work, but that was in a shareware
router software package (Sygate). However, a real NIC will cost much less -
like 5 bucks.

Problem facts : OS = WinXP Home, on 12 PC's in LAN.
Server IP adress (static) in LAN is 192.168.0.20
(I call my ISP only from server PC)
When I want to connect on internet I must obtain
dynamic IP adress, so LAN doesn't work anymore.

I can connect to internet only like this :
Network Connections --> Properties (any connection) --> Networking -->
TCP/IP (properties). If I put "obtain IP adress automatically" LAN
doesn't work but I can connect to internet.
After that (while I'm still on internet) I take back option "Use following
IP adress = 192.168.0.20" and LAN works again

Is there any way (option or software) which will simplify this procedure ?
