There's an interesting article on DX9 vs DX10 on an MS blog, with some accompanying screenshots that are quite remarkable:

Some of them are apparently real in game renderings

I'll believe it when I see it (and when I can afford a DX10 graphics card!)

I dont know if i believe that entirely...i mean, that was published in august last year, and that crysis rendering, i dont genuinly believe.

But it is a good read

Better Belive it michael, I have seen the Cysis video in real time, its great.
now its time to upgrade

Yep, it's all true ... DX10 will produce mind-blown games with so much graphic detail, you will think it was a film.


You will of course need a fully compatible DX10 video card and a game designed for DX10 ... oh, and Vista.

It is simple ... the graphics card itself renders & draws all by itself ... leaving your CPU to do other work.
