That is not recommended. Don't post such a stupid idea.
Please try this:
Remove the device from Device Manager (Start-Run-devmgmt.msc) by
expanding the DVD\CD Drives, then right click on the problematic
drive(s) and click uninstall. Now reboot and it should redetect and
install your drive(s).
