HELP!!! I currently have Windows XP Movie Maker. I captured video onto that
program and edited it to my liking. Now I need a way to burn it onto a DVD in
order to play on a DVD player and share with my family. Please help me!!

You need to create your movie as either an AVI or WMV file by using WMM and
then use whatever DVD creation software you have purchased or obtained with
your DVD burner to create the menu system and burn the DVD.

WMM, other than the Media Center version (and I understand it doesn't work
too well,) does not natively create DVDs.

Yeah, you can save your movie in AVI or WMV format first, Then go and
have a ride with Wondershare Video to DVD Burner. Very easy to use,
simply click the "Add file" button to select your AVI files, next edit
your video clips and hit the "Burn to disk!" button, Yes! That's all!
After a short conversion process you can enjoy your new DVD file, made

How do I make my edited movie into a AVI or WMV file. Start from immediately
after I am done editing my movie on WMM. By the way I have an external DVD
burner using Ulead DVD Movie Factory stuff.

Make sure your hard drive is formatted as NTFS or an output file larger than
4 GB will cause errors, if not convert it to NTFS before proceeding.

Once you have finished placing what you want on the timeline or storyboard
with any desired transitions, click on Finish Movie to drop down its
options. Click on save to my computer.On the next screen tell the computer
what the movie's name is and where you want to place it on the hard drive
(Browse) then click next.

On the next menu called Movie Setting, click on the Other settings: radio
button. Click on the white window and then scroll down to near the bottom
of the list. You should see DV-AVI (NTSC). Click on that then click Next.
The movie will be saved. Remember, you will need plenty of hard drive space
to save the movie in this format. Once finished, don't worry about the size
of the finished file. Import the new file into your DVD authoring software.
The final product will be created as .VOB, IFO and .BUF files on the DVD by
the authoring software.

DWZ files are project files not video files. You can open DWZ project files
with DVD Movie Factory but you can't "convert" then to a video file to
import into another program.

No I am not even ALMOST saying that.
I regularly recommend Movie Factory and DVD Workshop they are the two I
favor the most on my website listing.
Save the WMM project as a DV-AVI and import the AVI into Movie Factory to
create your DVD.

I have read your info on saving a movie; however, what is NTFS. Also, when
I try to save the movie, I don't have the option "Finish Movie" or the menu
"Movie Setting" with the rest of the options. Also, the storyboard shows the
clips as I have placed them, but when I preview the movie, a clip appears
that is shown earlier in the movie. HELP!!!
