My Toshiba Laptop does NOT recognise my Sony DCR-VX1000E,
I'm running both MS Movie Maker & Roxio Media 7
programmes, neither will accept a DV signal from my
Camcorder. Comes up "Not Recognised" or Not Connected,
frustrating or what. many users have same interface
problem. Texas Instrument capture say working fine, as is
Camera and Leads, no Bell from Computer, as happens when
I plug USB. This is a fundamental issue for MS.
Compatability with a Plug & Play device, iLink / Firewire
link i=not working makes the Camera AND Computer useless.
