Right - I think what I was meant to do was to open the .avi file in Movie
Maker, drag all the clips (unedited) onto the film strip and then save that
movie in a .wmv format. Does it matter which format I choose ? I tried a
random one (sorry forgotten which format but it resulted in a 800Mb file, as
opposed to the 12GB .avi file). However I could not link it to my orginal
project file - same message as before when I tried to link the .avi file to
my project saying different format etc. Looks like I have to do all my
editing again - unless I choose the wrong format to save my movie in ? Could
you recommend which format I need to choose to get it to work ?
