dutch to english windows xp

      10th Sep 2006
just bought a compaq pc from the netherlands. i was told that i would have
the option of choosing english or dutch windows after booting it for the
first time. however, when i boot it it was only dutch. any suggestions on how
to change it to english?

Hi

You can't change the Language of XP. You would have to purchase an English
Retail XP CD. You can then either install that instead of the Dutch version
or dual boot both.

Unfortunately you were either lied to or told somethiong false by someone
who didn't know any better. There's no way to do this, and your only choice
is to buy an English version.
