During Upgrade from 2000 to 2003 machine hangs

All,

Currently i have a HP machine running windows 2000.
The O/S is placed on a mirrored disk.
Now i want to upgrade the OS to Windows 2003 Server enterprise Edition.
After installing the files it says it will reboot the machine. Ok fine that
works.
But after the reboot it wants to continue the installation process.....now
it hangs.

What is the course that it hangs during the upgrade of the OS?

Please help!
