I AM USING A GATEWAY 9500 SOLO WITH XP HOME EDITION.
EVERY TIME I MOVE A FILE FROM ONE FOLDER TO ANOTHER, IT
SEEMS THAT I MAKER A COPY OF THAT FILE IN THE FOLDER I
MOVED IT FROM. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?????

Paste it in the new folder. Works for me.

Well, first, you are screaming at everyone who might help you by using all
caps.

Second, it sounds like you are copying and not moving to me..
