I have Outlook 2002/XP. Copies of POP/SMTP emails that I deleted manually
(i.e. not through a rule) are reappearing in my Inbox, sometimes up to 6
months later. I leave email on the servers (Comcast and Yahoo), but set the
delivery option to delete emails off the server when I delete them in
Outlook. This issue happens 2 - 5 times a day, and seems pretty random. I
have 5 email accounts and sometimes it only affects one and other times 2 or
3 of the accounts. On two separate occasions hundreds of deleted emails
showed up over the course of a couple of hours in the Yahoo account.) I also
should mention that I use online McAfee through Comcast. Does anyone have
any specific advice to fix this problem? I read earlier threads and could
not find this specific issue. Thx.
