I recently upgraded the IDE controler software on Win2k
server, and once it was re-booted the logocal drives on
one of the hard drives had all been duplicated. That is to
say, the 4 logical volumes on the disc now appear as 8,
each with their own drive letter. They no NOT, however,
show up in the disk management snap-in. Suggestions of how
to correct this? I have already taken the drive out,
rebooted, manually deleted the volumes from device
manager, to no avail.

Hi Bryan,

Try running Regedit and delete values on the mounted devices key. IN
Hkey_local_machine\system
Exit Regedit and reboot.
