I just want to know whether is it possible or not to
install Windows 2003 Server in a different partition if I
already have Windows XP Professional. If it is possible,
should I have some considerations as backing up special
files or installing first one OS?... thanks in advance

Yes, you can install Windows Server 2003 in a dual boot setup with XP Pro.
As with any install, back up anything you can't afford to lose.
