Dual boot XP with 2K visible partitions

I am setting up a dual boot system. I have W2K installed already and
was installing XP to the third partition on my 1st hard drive. All was
going normally until on a reboot after installing an application, the
found new hardware system tray icon showed up. I rebooted again and
saw no errors in the Device manager so I continued. I then discovered
that I could see the W2K partition and the DOS partition where I keep
Boot Magic and Ghost were visible.

I went into Boot Magic and Partition Magic and the partitions are
marked as hidden and the default partition visibility settings are
still default.

Anyone see this before? Any ideas what I should do to correct this as
having a bootable partition visible to another partition is geneerally
not recommended?

Thanks,
Todd
