1. Drivers are your choice: e.g. if you want to network the Win98
installation or print from it you would need network or printer drivers:
if not, not.
2. Drive format is another factor because Win98 cannot see
NTFS hard drives. This can make it difficult to move data into
a VirtualPC.
3, Win98 runs very nearly all DOS apps. But WinXP let us set
/ Properties / Compatibility in case we can tweak old apps to run
under WinXP. (I have done all I need and failed with only one,
Paradox 7, written for Win95.)
