I want to set up a dual boot over 3 hard drives. I have a 1.5 TB drive which
has xp multimedia on it now. I just purchased 2 150GB raptors which I would
like to raid0 them and install xp 64. I have tried a few things but are not
working the way i would like. I would like to have the main page when I boot
up ask me which system I would like to start.

new system p6t board - i7 chip - ram ddr3 1600 3 1GB sticks - radeon
hd 4870 x2 video card - 2 wd 150GB raptor drives.

any help would be appreciated

First of all set the RAID array up first...and RAID 0 will show only one
drive letter for the Raptors
Accessed from within the Main menu, the Storage Configuration submenu
contains settings for controlling the SATA ports tied to the ICH10R
Southbridge chipset. The SATA Configuration setting determines the system
port access type in conjunction with the Configure SATA as setting. With the
Compatible mode setting selected for the SATA Configuration option, the
system is restricted to accessing to a total of 4 SATA 2 devices. The
Enhanced mode setting allows for use of 6 devices in standalone IDE, AHCI,
or RAID mode, configured via the Configure SATA as option. This option
becomes user configurable only when the SATA Configuration set to Enhanced
mode. Note that the Intel RAID boot BIOS will only show with drives
connected to the onboard ICH10R’s SATA 2 ports.......Quoted from

Then from within XP multimedia insert the XP 64 CD and start a NEW
installation...it will reboot and the installation will start
be sure to point it to the proper HD...you should be able to tell by the
size.
This will change the MBR to reflect the new installation and upon reboot the
message should come up asking which OS to start with.
Hopefully you will have installed it to a easily recognizable directory like
XP64 so you can tell the difference.
