Have just taken delivery of a new compaq tower MT5100.

The team has a requirement for dual boot windows 2000 and XP.

This has been successfully achieved, but when we ghost or perform a disk to
disk copy from the source, the Windows 2000 works fine. However the XP gets
to the logon prompt, which is completed only to return back to the logon
prompt continually.

We are also using the latest novell client.

Has anyone encountered a similar problem?
Would appreciate any help/guidance at this moment in time as we are suppose
to be going live with our new helpdesk!

Julie, try using the Recovery Console. At the command prompt type:
Bootcfg /rebuild For more info check here
